"We had a great experience with Smith Brothers. Charles contacted me back very quickly and was able to come out and meet me promptly as well. He started drawing up plans as he was here.
Charles communicated often and kept me in the loop at every step of the process. He was willing and able to work with me within my budget for the project and even did what he could to help me get the most out of what money I was able to spend.
The brothers all seemed to enjoy themselves and genuinely love their work, which showed in their craftsmanship.
The deck was exactly what we wanted and absolutely gorgeous when it was finished. When the inspector came by for a final check of everything he was even admiring the work and made sure to comment on how well made it was.
We will definitely be calling Smith Brothers again for future projects.

"Thank you, Charles and Will Smith of Smith Brothers Carpentry for the several projects you completed at our home in 2023. You made the stairs on our large remodeled Trex deck much safer and easier to use. The lattice skirt you installed below the deck was the perfect finishing touch on our beautiful deck. The shed you disassembled, moved, and rebuilt over the new stone foundation you installed is perfect. You saved us money by removing, painting, and reinstalling the many shutters on our house. Your reasonable prices for all the projects you did and your attention to detail are greatly appreciated. But most of all, we enjoyed working with you both because you kept us involved in every step of the projects and you adapted the changes we made as we went along. You made sure we were satisfied with each step. You both were always easy to communicate with and your response was always timely. "Last summer Charlie and Will Smith were hired to rebuild our deck which was old and failing.
We sat and watched the progress during the entire process. Everything was measured twice before boards were cut, and leveled horizontally and vertically before they were nailed. Several neighbors who wandered over gave positive comments after the project was completed. They not only built a beautiful deck but were accommodating and answered questions along the way.
We are proud and privileged to recommend the Smith Brothers for any projects you need to have done.

"Smith Brothers Carpentry was a very good company to work with. They came to give us an estimate on our deck in a very timely manner and within 24 hours had a reasonable quote. The company came soon after and with one week they took down and rebuilt a new deck. They were very efficient and work oriented and the results show. "We hired the Smith Bros to replace our kitchen and bathroom floors when they were destroyed by a sewer backup. The new floors are great - they did an awesome job. They were very professional and courteous. They always arrived on schedule and whenever it was convenient for us. I am so pleased with their workmanship and my new floors are looking great! Would definitely hire them again."

Amherst Deck
We were hired to build the deck for this new construction house. The customer came to us with a clear idea in mind for how they wanted the deck to look. We worked closely with them on the design and came up with this sharp, picture frame look with the boarder piece down the middle, and one continuous step wrapping all the way around the porch.
